College Programs
We have extensive experience working with American colleges and universities on study abroad programs in Dingle, Ireland. Seán Pól worked as Campus Director for an American university based in Dingle for 16 years. Lenka has worked as student coordinator with various university groups since 2012.
We provide excellent logistical and pedagogical support that allows instructors to focus on teaching instead of travel details, all while ensuring the non-academic experience is enriching for students.
Our programs for college students feature focused, location-based learning complimented by enriching outdoor activities in Dingle, County Kerry.
Dingle is blessed not only with natural beauty, but a rich heritage that includes ancient historical sites, a thriving traditional music scene, and a long-standing community of artists and artisans.
Whatever your academic subject, there is potential to create a unique study abroad course in Dingle. Obvious areas are Irish music, history, and literature, as well as travel writing, marine biology and geology. But we can work with you to craft a course that complements your own area of study, whatever it may be.
Once we’ve settled on a curriculum, we’ll engage local and national experts as guest speakers to give you and your students an international perspective on the subject. We’ll also arrange visits to local historical and cultural sites that relate to the subject area.
Courses usually run 2-5 weeks, though we can accommodate any length of course.
We work closely with international/study abroad offices to deal with all administrative issues, so the program runs smoothly.
